Mrs. Taylor was born August 13, 1939 in Corpus Christi, TX and passed away

Jonesville. She was a resident of Jonesville, an artist, Wife , Mother and Grandmother and a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Jonesville, La.
She was preceded in Death by:

Taylor; and Special Friends-Alma Womack and her Tuesday Morning Art Class.

Albert Lee Huff
Funeral services for Albert Lee Huff, 85, of Harrisonburg will be held at 10
a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7th at First Baptist Church of Harrisonburg with the Rev.
Ralph Webber officiating.
Burial will follow in Harrisonburg Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home of Jonesville.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6th at First Baptist
Church of Harrisonburg.
Pallbearers will be Will Gilley, Sean Gilley, Joseph Huff, Joel Huff, Matthew
Huff, Elisha Jordan and Caleb Huff.
Honorary pallbearers will be Philip Jordan, Gideon Jordan, Isaac Jordan, Joshua
Huff, Ethan Huff and Aiden Huff.
Albert Lee Huff, 85, of Harrisonburg died early Wednesday morning, Nov. 4th at
LaSalle General Hospital in Jena.
A native and lifelong resident of the Harrisonburg area, Huff was a retired
cotton and soybean farmer and U.S. Navy veteran.
During World War II, he served at Seattle (Washington) Naval Hospital and at
Aiea Heights Hospital in Hawaii near Pearl Harbor.
Huff was the son of the late Narl and Nancy Crawford Huff of Harrisonburg and
was married to Earlene Aplin Huff for more than 57 years.
He was a deacon at First Baptist Church of Harrisonburg and was a founding
member of Kidron Baptist Church in the Jug Bend community.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Elaine Huff Levesque and Louise Huff
Guillote, and by his granddaughter, Casey Alexandra White.
In addition to his wife, survivors include seven children, William and Susan
Huff Gilley of Silsbee, TX, Steve and M
arsha Pemble of Ball, Kirk and Amy Huff of Harrisonburg, Mark and Ronda Huff of
Harrisonburg, David and Phyllis Huff Jordan of Harrisonburg, Eric and Ma
ry Huff of Harrisonburg, and Keith and Angie Huff of Natchez, MS; 24
grandchildren, Dr. David and Crystal Gilley Evans of Southlake, TX, Tad and
Mona Gilley Frantzen of The Woodlands, TX, Will Gilley of Chicago, IL, Sean
Gilley of Silsbee, TX, Daniel and Julia Pemble of McKinney, TX, Joseph Huff of
New Orleans, LA, Joel Huff of Baton Rouge, LA, Matthew and Emily Huff, both of

Idell Bell Stevenson
Funeral services for Idell Bell Stevenson were held on Saturday, October 31,
2009 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Baptist Church in Archie with Rev. Wilmore J. Long
and Hiram Evans, Sr. officiating.
Mrs. Stevenson was born February 26, 1916 to the late Annie and passed away on
October 22, 2009.
Accepting Christ at an early age, she joined Evergreen Baptist Church in Archie,
Louisiana.
Idell married Ed Stevenson, who also preceded her in death. During her long
life, God blessed her with many children: Georgia (Woodrow) Martin of
Jonesville, LA, Abe (Gloria) Stevenson of Cheyenne, WY, Robert (Augustine, who
preceded her) Stevenson, Sylvia (Anthony) Jean of Sacramento, CA (both preceded
her), Eddie (Irma) Stevenson of Houston, TX (both preceded her), Levi Stevenson
of Houston, TX, Alonzo Stevenson of Jonesville, Freedae (Lonnie) Hatten of
Harrisonburg, LA, and Frances Stevenson of Houston, TX.
As life has brought both trials and triumphs, Idell Stevenson's faithfulness to
God and family was blessed by being the grandmother of 21 grandchildren, 37
great-grandchildren, three sisters, Audrey Johnson of Jena, LA, Sylvia Bell
(Leo) of Jena, and Lara Bell of Jonesville, three brothers, Louis, Pierce, and
Fred Welch (all preceded her), two godsons, Paul, Jr. and Kevin Farris of
Rhinehart, LA.
Idell was also blessed with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She enjoyed
many years of membership as a faithful Eastern Star member.
With long life comes many changes - birth and joy, death and sorrows, but one
thing remains through it all - Faith in God. Idell finally answered God's call
on October 22, 2009 to come home. She will be truly missed.

Mr. Wright was born August 11, 1981 in Shreveport, LA and passed away Friday,
November 6, 2009 at his Residence in Jonesville.
He was a resident of Jonesville, an Oil Field land rig floor hand, and a member of a Non-Denominational church.
He was preceded in death by his one sister, Megan Adams; paternal grandparents,
JC Adams and Nancy Adams; special cousin, JoJo Turner and his cousin, Ronnie
"Lil' Slick" Adams, Jr.
