Ellis “ET” Taylor
Funeral services for Mr. Ellis Taylor "ET", 76, of Ferriday, LA were held at Young's Funeral Home, Ferriday, La. on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 3:30 PM with Bro Don Bush and Bro. Preston Holder officiating. Interment followed at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Taylor was born February 27, 1933 in Crowville, LA and passed away Thursday October 22, 2009 at Natchez Community Hospital. Mr. Ellis retired from Ashland Pipeline, Owned and operated Taylor Texaco and worked for Concordia Parish Sheriffs Office . He was a Deacon for the Ridgecrest Baptist Church and he Served his Country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr Ellis was an Avid Hunter and Fisherman and treasured his family and friends.

Edna Mitchell Boothe
Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Mitchell Boothe, 90, of Harrisonburg, LA were held at Myers Bend Pentecostal Church on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 12:00 PM with Bro. Bill Cotten and Bro. Carl Boothe officiating. Interment followed at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mrs. Boothe was born August 5, 1919 in Picayune, MS and passed away Thursday October 22, 2009 in Jonesville. She was a home maker and a member of Myers Bend Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by:

Son-Herman L. Boothe
Parents- B.W. and Mary Alice Mitchell
Survivors include:
Son-Truman Boothe of Harrisonburg, La.

The Honorary Pallbearers will be DeWayne Boothe, Robert Ingram, Eddie Howington, Brad Boothe and Earl " Poboy" Parker.
The family will receive friends at Myers Bend Pentecostal Church from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, October 23, 2009.
Kenneth Ray Ferguson
Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Ray Ferguson, 85, of Vidalia, LA were held at Young's Funeral Home, Ferriday, La. on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Bro. Ron Ledford officiating. Interment  followed at Lone Pine Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Ferguson was born November 28, 1923 in Drumright, OK and passed away Thursday October 22, 2009 at St. Dominics Hospital Jackson. He retired after 34 years with Schlumberger and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the Navy Ship USS Alpine and during the Korean War on Navy Ship USS Shangri-La. He was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his wife camping and friends they have met throughout the years of traveling.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Lee Ferguson; parents, Lee Sheridan and Ella Mae Prater Ferguson; two sisters, Jean McManus and Janice Steele; and two brothers, Chester Ferguson and Bill Ferguson.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Maude Morace Ferguson of Vidalia; one son, Jeff Ferguson and his wife, Becky of Vidalia; two daughters, Joyce Ward and her husband, Phillip of Conway, Ark. and Jo Ann Bumgarner and her husband, Mike of Vidalia; one brother, Donald Ferguson and his wife, Anita of Meadville, Miss.; one sister, Jeri Holmes of Jackson, Miss.; three granddaughters, Sondra Hemard and husband, Bryan of Palisade, Colo., Stephanie Foster of Conway, Ark., and Tish Parker and her husband, David of Vidalia; three grandsons, Jeffrey Ferguson and his wife, Stephanie of Baton Rouge, La., Michael Lee Ferguson and his wife, Wendy of Vidalia, La., and Joel Greer of Vidalia, La.; two step grandsons, Adam Bumgarner of Vidalia, La. and Daniel Bumgarner of Atlanta, Ga.; one step granddaughter, Erika Felter and her husband, Joe of Natchez; twelve great grandchildren, Jake & Josh Hemard, Avery & Payton Parker, Melissa, Allen & Courtney Foster, Autumn Ferguson, Whitley, Noah, Joseph & Kayleigh Bumgarner; three brother-in-laws, Pat Patterson of Sugarlott, Miss., Doyle Morace of Vidalia, La. and Roy Payton and his son Mike of Natchez, Miss.; two sister-in-laws, Jan Ferguson of Maryland and Lovine Morace of Monterey; and he loved and was loved by many, many nieces and nephews.
The Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Ferguson, Michael Ferguson, Joel Greer, Darryl Morace, Joey Merrill, and Dan Merrill. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Payton.
The family will receive friends at Young's Funeral Home, Ferriday, La. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, October 24, 2009.
