Funeral services for Mr. Rollie Tucker, age 52, of Vidalia, were held at Young's Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 2 PM with Pastor John Collard officiating.

Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Natchez under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Vidalia.

Mr. Tucker was born December 26, 1956 in Ferriday, La. the son of Tommy and Beth Tucker. He passed from this life Monday, July 13, 2009, in Vidalia. Rollie delivered newspapers for the Alexandria Town Talk, Natchez Democrat, and Monroe News Star.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Tucker.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Brownell Tucker of Vidalia; children, Love Lee Tucker of Vidalia, and William R. Tucker, Jr. also of Vidalia; mother, Elizabeth "Beth" Tucker of Vidalia; his grandchildren, Chaise Nations, Hunter Nations, Landon Ferguson, Dominik, Xander, and Mallori Harveston.

Mr. Tucker is also survived by his sisters, Ellen Yates and Merry Bonnette, both of Vidalia; step-sons, Wayne Harveston of Vidalia, Carol Joseph Carlos of California, and Jackie James Cornwell, Jr. of Pearl, Miss.; and step-daughters, Lena Geter of Vidalia, Shannon Marie Cornwell of Ferriday, Rosemary Arnold of New Iberia, La., Kimberley Gill of South Carolina.

The Pallbearers were Johnny Donald and Gerald Donald, Freddie Green, Sr, Freddie Green, Jr, Dave Yates, Doug Yates, Willie Bailey, and Gabe Bailey.
