Anna V. Howard
Mrs. Anna V. Howard, longtime Jonesville resident, peacefully passed away on Sunday morning, February 14 at Promise Rehabilitation Hospital in Vidalia, Louisiana.
Wake services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Howard's Funeral Home at 606 Ninth Street, Jonesville, Louisiana.
A final viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 18 at St. Mark Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church at 808 E.H. Johnson Street, Jonesville, Louisiana.
Charlie Lloyd Wiley
Graveside services for Charlie Lloyd Wiley, 57, of Jonesville were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Heard Cemetery in Manifest with Rev. Jack Knapp and Rev. Joel Ford officiating. Services were under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
Charlie was born March 19, 1952 to Leamon Wiley and Rose Deach in Jonesville and he passed from this life on February 7, 2010 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Leamon Wiley.
Survivors include his mother, Rose Deach and her husband Al of Holloway; three daughters, Canlance Ward of Haughton, LA, Chasitie Rainey of Jonesville, and Charla Manning of Columbia, LA; three brothers: Sonny Wiley of Monroe, Marty Wiley of Jonesville, and Bobby Wiley of Holloway, LA; three sisters, Juanita Fontenot of Lake Charles, Terry Parker of Jonesville, and Mildred McGee of Greenwood, LA; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Larry Parker, James Parker, Michael Wayne Parker, Vincent Wiley, Justin Parker, Michael Wiley, Steve Forman, and Rodney Wiley.
Honorary pallbearers were Michael LaPrairie, Jason Ragsdale, Kevin Brooks, and Mark Moore.

Malvie Butts
Funeral services for Malvie Butts, 89, of Jonesville, LA  were held at Good Road Pentecostal Church on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at  2 p.m. with Rev. Bryan Taylor officiating.  Interment followed at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mrs. Butts was born June 9, 1920 in Jonesville and passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at LaSalle General Hospital in Jena.   She  was a resident of Jonesville, and a homemaker, and she was a member of the Good Road Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carice Masters, and her husband, Harley Butts.
Survivors include two sons, Glynn Butts and wife Shirley of Jonesville, and Carmon Butts and wife Carlyon of Jonesville; two daughters, Avis Myers and husband James of Jonesville, and Mavis Williams and husband Timmy of Jonesville. She was also survived by nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jay Forrest, Glenn Butts, Jr., Brad Butts, David Evans, and Jeffery Cater.
Honorary pallbearer was Timmy Williams.

Ed Cutrer
Funeral services for Mr. Ed Cutrer, 86 ,of Saint Joseph, LA  were held at St. Joseph Baptist Church on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Bro. Joe Odenwald officiating.   Interment followed at Legion Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
