Ruby Knapp Bivona
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Knapp Bivona, 87, of Jonesville, LA  were held at Liberty Worship Center on Saturday, January  9, 2010 at  2 p.m. with Rev. Dewayne Knapp, Bro. Ronnie Melancon and Bro Clyde Grammon  officiating.  Interment followed at Heard Cemetery, Manifest, LA under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Mrs. Bivona was born February 13, 1922  and passed away Thursday, January 07, 2010.  She  was a resident of Jonesville,  a home maker,  and a member of the Liberty Worship Center
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Bivona; her parents, William Columbus Knapp and Amelia Frith Knapp; and two sisters, Maudell Melancon and Nita Johnson.
Survivors include a daughter, Becky Ramsey of Jonesville; a grandson, Richard Jr. and his wife Ashley Ramsey of Monterey, LA; a granddaughter, Rachel and her husband Jesse Beard of Jonesville; a great grandson, Tyler Beard; two great granddaughters, Jenna Ramsey and Skyler Beard; two brothers, W.C. Knapp of Jonesville, and Huey Knapp and his wife Mona of Morgan City, LA; a sister, Shirley White and her husband George of Jonseville; and a sister-in-law, Anne Ford and her husband Zippy of Metairie, LA.
Pallbearers were her family members.  A special thanks to the staff of Hospice Compassus.

Paula McClure Morace
Funeral services for Paula McClure Morace, 46, formerly of Jonesville, LA, and a resident of Franklinton, LA, were held at Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton on December 29, 2009. Interment followed at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Franklinton.
Paula was a former owner and operator of The Bridge Store and was of the Pentecostal Faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Louis "T-Bud" McClure.
Survivors include her mother, Wanda Anne Smith of Jonesville, LA; children, Alisha Sanders, Jarrod Patten, Brandon Morace, all of Franklinton; a granddaughter Presley Jewel Sanders; her husband Anthony Morace; and two brothers, Albert McClure, Jr., of Vidalia, and George McClure of Jonesville.
Joel Parker
Funeral services for Mr. Joel Parker, 75, of Vidlalia, LA, were held at Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou, Ferriday, LA on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Gary Howington, Rev. George Guy, Rev. Wayne Watson, and Rev. Dr. Irma Jean Holland officiating. Interment followed at Harris Cemetery, Crowville, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Janie Pauline Charrier
Funeral services for Janie Pauline Charrier, 61, of Vidalia, LA, will be held at Young's Funeral Home on January 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Bro. Glen Harrigill officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Natchez, MS under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Dorothy Juanice McCarthy
Funeral services for Dorothy Juanice McCarthy were held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on January 2, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Frank Bass and Rev. Dennis Relaford officiating. Interment followed at Heard Cemetery.
Mrs. Carthy passed away on December 30, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Biela Neal; her son, David McCarthy; her sister, Gloria Luttrell ; and her brother, Morris Neal.
Survivors include her husband, Jetty McCarthy; sons, Jerry and his wife Kathy McCarthy, Donnie and his wife Sherry McCarthy, and Larry McCarthy; a daughter, Pat and her husband Buddy Green; grandchildren, Scott Green, Brent McCarthy, Robin McCarthy, and Lane McCarthy; great grandchildren, Jessica Kari, Rachel Green, Bryce, Lilly, and Gus McCarthy, and Mallory and Emily McCarthy; sisters, Aldis Boone and Gerelden Blackwell; brothers David Neal, Edward Neal, and James Neal; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers  were Scott Green, Brent McCarthy, Stewart Hardie, Kevin Rutledge, David Cockerham, Edward Neal.
George McCarthy was an honorary pallbearer.
